SHAKATA es una fiesta musical cargada de energía intensa e inolvidable.

Esta banda internacional, con miembros llegados de tres continentes, os llevará a un viaje transatlántico de música y baile desde los Balcanes a las playas de Brasil, pasando por múltiples lugares a lo largo de la ruta.

La banda se formó en Berklee College of Music, Valencia y se hizo conocida inmediatamente por la magnética energía que desprende sobre el escenario y su divertido repertorio. Absorbiendo desde las raíces culturales y musicales de cada componente, la música del conjunto crea una fusión fresca entre las melodías inspiradas de la música balcánica y el Maqam árabe, mezcladas con ritmos brasileños y latinos, con toques de rock psicodélico.

Es un groove contagioso que no deja a nadie escapar de menearse y mantiene la fiesta en marcha!

SHAKATA is all about bringing the carnival to town and getting the party started!

This truly international band, with members hailing from three continents, will take you on a dance-filled journey from the Balkan peninsula to the beaches of Brazil and everywhere in between.

The band formed at Berklee College of Music in Valencia and immediately became known for their fun and funky repertoire and high energy live performances. Absorbing from the cultural and musical origins of each member (Brazil, Israel, Sicily, United States), the ensemble takes influences from Balkan and Arabic music and fuses them with Brazilian and Latin rhythms and a hint of American Blues to complete the signature SHAKATA sound. It's an unorthodox and flavourful groove that keeps the party rocking!
